Brief: Leverage Samsung’s Netball sponsorship to promote the Samsung Galaxy A-Series phone.
Idea: To leverage Samsung’s partnership with Netball Australia and demonstrate the Samsung Galaxy A-Series’ capabilities, we recruited Super Netball’s best players to capture their best moves using the A-Series phone. The players then shared their videos on social with the #GalaxyAGame, challenging their followers to “Bring Their A Game” and try to outdo them.

Film
A celebration of how both athletes and active Gen Zers use their phones to capture and share their best skills and tricks. The #GalaxyAGame challenge was introduced to netball fans at the beginning of the 2017 Super Netball season. Playing in stadiums, on Samsung and Netball Australia's social channels and during Nine’s live broadcast of the game.

Social
10 second videos and animated gifs of the best tricks and skills from the film were created to amplify the #GalaxyAGame on social.

Channel Nine broadcast promotion,
The best #GalaxyAGame responses came from the National Netball League teams. We turned their videos into a social and Channel Nine broadcast promotion, asking audiences to vote for the best video for the chance to win prizes.

Activation
At Super Netball Games, fans lined up to play an interactive Show us what you’ve got game with the Samsung Galaxy A-series phone. The phone captured participants netball skills as they attempted to shoot, lob and pass as many balls into the goals in a minute. Participants could then share this video with #GalaxyAGame for the chance to win the phone.
