AAMI GIRL GOES 8-BIT FOR SNAPCHAT
To cut through Snapchat’s coverage of San Diego Comic-Con, AAMI Car Insurance needed a way to make roadside assist feel relevant in a world of sci-fi, fantasy and superheroes. So we reimagined the AAMI Girl as an 8-bit hero, built for the culture and visual language of Comic-Con. Across animated Snapchat ads, she rescued stranded motorists from exaggerated, pop-culture scenarios: zombie attacks, alien abductions and dragon encounters, reframing roadside assist as a superpower that shows up when things go wrong.
